ISkewbald Theatre was established in 2010 by Artistic Director Hayley Byfield to create exciting and vibrant family theatre.

Hayley Byfield
Hayley is a performer, arts practitioner, producer, project manager & programmer. Hayley trained in Theatre at The Mountview Academy of performing arts and produces and directs Skewbalds productions. Hayley has worked as a performer for Lanternfish Theatre Co, Theatre Active, Team Angelica, Freshwater Theatre Co & Caboodle Arts; A director for Secondskin Theatre and Goldsmiths Uni and an arts practitioner for A New Direction, Creative Junction, Bigfoot Theatre, London Workshop Company and Tip of the Iceberg. Hayley most recently programmed Skewbald's Children's Theatre Festival and co wrote, directed and designed Skewbald's production of The Frog Prince.

Tory Sandars
Tory trained at London Metropolitan University and directs, writes and performs for Skewbald. Tory also works as an assistant director for Goat & Monkey, a director for Bigfoot Theatre co and as a drama facilitator for Trestle Theatre Co and Tip of the Iceberg and as a drama lecturer at Brunel Uni. Tory most recently co wrote & directed Skewbald's Frog Prince & Goldilocks.

Alex Marshall - Lighting Design
Alex is an experienced Lighting Designer mainly sepcialising in dance, theatre and live events. Alex has worked on numerous Skewbald productions including The Pied Piper, Princess & the Pea, The Snow Queen, Goldilocks and Grimm Sweet Grimm. Most recently Alex has worked on Secret Cinema's events Hotel Budapest & Back to the Future. Whilst freelancing around the UK Alex also works as a Design Associate for Woodroffe Bassett Design; projects include Winter Whites Gala 2013 at Kensington Palace, The London Edition Hotel – Nightclub Installation and The Doha Tribeca Film Festival 2011 & 2012. He also worked on the stage adaptation The Lion Witch And The Wardrobe as the Deputy Head of Lighting. Other projects include: Jack And The Beanstalk (Camberley Theatre), DPMO The Tour (Platinum Performing Arts), The Workshop (Italia Conti), Let Me Be Your Star (D&B Performing Arts), The Moment Of Truth (Southwark Playhouse) and The Chairs (Blackwhite Theatre)

Jessica Kay - Puppet Design & Maker
Jessica trained at the Wimbledon School of Art and Modelmaking at The University College for Creative Arts. Jessica has worked as Skewbalds Puppet designer & maker since 2011 making puppets for Baba Yaga Boney Legs, The Snow Queen, Goldilocks & the 3 Bears and The Frog Prince. Jessica has worked extensively as a puppeteer, designer and maker for theatre companies including Old Saw, Topsy Turvey, The Peoples Theatre Company, Roots & Wings, Big Wooden Horse, Handheld Arts, and Cbebbies.

Noel Andrew Harron
Noel trained at the Liverpool Institute of Performing arts and writes, composes and performs regularly for Skewbald Theatre. Noel has worked extensively as a performer for Shakespeare for Kids (S4K) touring the UK and internationally. His roles for S4K have included Macbeth, Mercucio, Caliban and Puck. Other credits include two seasons with the Cambridge Shakespeare Festival, Macbeth in Pitch Black, Mercutio for Shooting Stars Theatre Company, performed in the all-male production of HMS Pinafore at the Union Theatre. Easy to Love at the Broadway Theatre (Murphy), Aladdin (Wishee Washee) and Peter Pan (Nana) both at White Rock Theatre, Hastings. Noel most recently co wrote and performed in Skewbald's Princess & the Pea & Goldilocks and co wrote the Frog Prince.
